2026 So Far
Thank you for making a difference
2026 has been a year of focus and innovation.
YTD Report
Pray and obey
We started the year with a clear vision: this is the year to pray and obey. As we prayed and sought wisdom from God during our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, three things stood out:
- How to be more effective in connecting and blessing all who come in contact with ConnectCommunity.
- How to reassess, innovate, and grow in this season of financial uncertainty.
- How to faithfully steward our call to missions and our presence in Guatemala.
Everywhere in the world the church grows not because of the political or economic climate, but because of people who choose to devote their talents, time, and treasure to the kingdom of God.

A home, and a meal, for families in need
During our trip in May of 2026, at Noah's Ark Project, our missions team furnished a small home for a family in need, and provided lunch for kids and parents in that community.
Here's how our prayers turned to action
In 2026
- Our ConnectGROUPS along with our Men's and Women's Nights saw consistent participation. Group members have grown closer together and in their understanding of Scriptures and prayer.
- We added intentional time of individual prayer to our Sunday worship flow, where we are able to minister to individual needs.
- We launched Summer Seven — seven Thursdays of Bible study and prayer at the park for our middle and high school students.
Our Easter Weekend stood out this year. On Good Friday we held a Revival Night where we came together to worship. Saturday, we had over 700 people from the Stamford area at our Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza — it's one way we serve and love the community. On Easter Sunday, 17 people made a decision to follow Jesus.
This year, we felt led to focus our investments on two projects in Guatemala:
Proyecto Arca de Noé (Noah's Ark Project)
Led by Pastor Eliu Morales, this project rescues families facing homelessness who have lived in the city's basurero (city dump) for many years in Jalapa. There, families are provided a place to shower, one meal a day, medicine, and now, housing. So far we have furnished two new homes, provided meals, and blessed them with a financial offering.
Misión Evangelística Cristo Viene Pronto
Pastor Jesus Morales planted this church six years ago to serve the most impoverished community in Monjas, Guatemala. We brought them food, a financial offering, and will assist them in building a drilled well so the community can have drinking water.
2026: The year to pray and obey
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the Lord of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!"
— Malachi 3:10 NLT
Many of you know we ended our 2025 fiscal year with a 15% shortfall. We made the necessary adjustments to stay afloat and focused, and we are on track to bridge the gap.
If you give consistently, thank you for your generosity! If you don't, we want to invite you to pray and ask God how you can participate. Then, obey. As we put God first, we believe His hand of favor will continue to be present in every area of our lives.
