Since 2023, ConnectCommunity church has been investing in sharing the Gospel and uplifting low-resourced communities in Guatemala.

Our Mission Statement:

To be a partner and support to local missional ministries who are sharing the love of Jesus and blessing the poor by identifying needs, allocating resources, and nurturing ongoing ministry relationships.

We are focusing on 2 projects in Guatemala:

Noah’s Ark Project:

In Jalapa, Jalapa, we support Project Noah’s Ark. A program that houses families who have lived in the basurero (city dump) for two or three generations. Many of them are young widows with three or more children. The Project feeds kids one meal a day, provides support so they can be educated, offers basic monthly healthcare checkup and over the counter medicine, and is now building small apartments to move them out of the city dump.

Water For Monjas:

In Monjas, Jalapa, we support a local church in a community across the main river. The neighborhood is extremely poor, and has no basic infrastructure; there is no sanitation, electricity, or running water. The church provides one meal a week for the community, and used to provide water from a shallow well. The well has run dry. Our goal is to provide them a drilled well by the end of 2026.

Your financial support enables us to continue the work in Guatemala with three focuses: to share the good news of Christ, to resource people through the local church, and to connect people to the family of God.
